Local art society, that meets at Great Blakenham Parish room weekly from 1.00 – 4.00pm on Tuesday afternoons. All people interested in art are welcome, whether they are complete novices or amateurs. For novices there is always help and advice on hand.
We all take our own art materials and use different mediums from various types of pencil, watercolour, acrylic, gouache, oil and inks. This is a small friendly group who get on very well together. Occasionally we book a professional artist for the afternoon to give demonstrations which are very interesting and we learn new tips and also new ideas. We charge £3 per week which includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
Anyone interested in joining can attend a taster session which is free. To do so they should phone either of the following people to obtain more details. We sometimes have full membership, in which case we would add people who are interested to a waiting list.
