Barham and Claydon Mothers’ Union is a fellowship group of like-minded people who meet together on the second Tuesday of each month at 2pm in Barham Church Hall.
Each meeting starts with a Bible reading and prayers for the worldwide MU.
We have speakers on topical subjects, for example: How to recognise fraudsters on the phone, internet and doorstep callers.
We have supported the Summer of Hope appeal which helps women to train as leaders of self-help parenting groups and start-up business enterprises.
Members make sandwiches for the Soup Kitchen, help at the Young Families Group and arranged a village afternoon Tea and Bingo session to bring people out of their homes after the pandemic.
The future will see us exploring the way forward as we re-imagine Mothers’ Union.

Henley Mothers’ Union has fourteen members and is led by a group of three. We meet on the second Monday of each month at 2pm or 7.30pm. Our meetings range from listening to speakers (including from the national MU and the local Salvation Army) to worshipping together (including a national celebration of communion), from putting together gifts for local charities to talking about the big questions in life with Bible study. Each term those who are able bake cakes to raise funds for MU charities. We’d love you to join us.
